The Czech Museum of Silver concentrates on the history of Kutná Hora region and on Kutná Hora itself as a Royal Mining Town. Due to this specialisation it presents first of all artefacts connected with medieval mining and minting technology, geology and mineralogy of the region and numismatics. Highlight of the tour of the museum is undoubtedly visit of the original medival silver mine.

Temporary Exhibitions

Every year the Czech Museum of Silver holds several temporary exhibitions.

Hrádek

The main exposition of the museum is situated in Hrádek. Two tours of the museum are offered, the second including visit of the original medieval mine.

Stone House

The Stone House presents exposition called "The Royal Mining Town - Burghers' life and culture in the 17th - 19th centuries".
